BESCOM has announced several planned power cuts throughout September:

  • September 6: A 16-hour power outage from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM affected multiple areas, including HRBR Layout, TNS Layout, NRI Layout, and parts of Banaswadi, due to maintenance work on the 66/11kV Banaswadi Power Transformer-3.

  • September 7: A 9-hour power cut from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM impacted areas such as Honnali Town, Halepet, Mandakkikeri, and Raghavendraswamy Matha Circle, as BESCOM carried out maintenance work on the Shivamogga-Gadag State Highway.

  • September 9 & 10: Scheduled power outages from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM are planned for over 70 areas, including Banaswadi, Horamavu, Kalyan Nagar, and surrounding localities, due to urgent maintenance at the Banaswadi 66/11kV substation.
