In a significant anti-corruption action, Lokayukta Police have arrested two probationary Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs) and a lorry driver in connection with an alleged bribery case in Bengaluru.

The accused have been identified as Kiran S.P., 37, Dinesh Kumar D.K., 48, and Ramesh, 40.

According to officials, Kiran and Dinesh Kumar were serving as probationary MVIs at the Nelamangala Regional Transport Office.

The arrests were made following an investigation by Lokayukta Police into alleged bribery involving transport-related work.

Authorities said the action reflects continuing efforts to curb corruption in public offices and ensure transparent services for citizens.
