A 23-year-old chartered accountant has inspired many online after reportedly turning a small side hustle into a successful full-time career through digital content creation.

According to a post shared on X by X user Portfolio_Bull, the young professional was earlier employed in a demanding job earning around ₹8 lakh annually while working nearly 12 hours a day.

Despite the salary, reports said his monthly savings remained limited after expenses, prompting him to explore new income opportunities.

Started with simple tax reels

After office hours, he reportedly began creating short Instagram reels explaining tax tips and personal finance concepts in simple language.

The growth was slow initially. After five months, he had only around 800 followers and earned about ₹2,000.

However, he continued posting regularly.

By the end of one year, his audience reportedly grew to 25,000 followers, while earnings from content creation touched around ₹3 lakh.

Side hustle became real income

Within 18 months, his annual income from online work reportedly rose to ₹8 lakh, matching his earlier salary.

Encouraged by the momentum, he decided to leave his job and focus completely on digital content.

The decision was reportedly met with hesitation from family members, who worried about giving up stable employment.

Big leap pays off

Today, the young CA reportedly has over 100,000 followers on Instagram and earns between ₹12 lakh and ₹15 lakh annually.

Reports also said he now works from home for five to six hours a day, enjoying greater flexibility and work-life balance.

New career model for youth

His journey reflects a wider shift in India, where many young professionals are using social media to build careers in finance, education, fitness and consulting.

For a growing generation, digital platforms are no longer just for sharing content — they are becoming serious economic opportunities.
