Mumbai: The 38th founder’s day of Bharath Bank was celebrated here at the central branch in Gurgaon on August 21 and was inaugurated by the bank Chairman Jaya C Suvarna.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the bank has received more than 45 awards for its transparency, quality service and he thanked all those who have served the bank and appreciated their contribution.
Bank CEO and Managing Director C R Mulky said that on the leadership of Jaya C Suvarna, the bank has reached the great heights.
General Manager (Main branch) Anil Kumar said that founder’s day should be a day of unity and for the current year they have a target of opening 101 branches of the bank.
General Manager Nithyananda D Kotian, senior officers Shobha Dayanand, Vivek Shanubhag, Mohandas Hejmady, Dinesh Salian, Nithyananda Karkeira, Naveen Bangera and Vasanth Hejamady were present.
A Health checkup was organised for the customers and well-wishers at Chembur, Gurgaon and Dombivili branches.
Moodbidri branch too celebrated the founder’s day at its office on Friday.
Businessman M Sheenappa inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. M S Zainuddin, owner of Bharath Chicken Centre from Vidyagiri was the chief guest.
Branch manager Sudhir Hattangady welcomed the gathering and spoke about the growth of the bank and customer service on the occasion.
