Mangaluru: GAIL Gas Limited (GGL), the wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Ltd., a Maharatna PSU, has reduced the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by ₹2.5 per KG to Rs 81.00/Kg effective from midnight of 6/ 7 March 2024.
The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), is an Efficient, Environment friendly and Economical fuel substitute of conventional Automotive fuels like Diesel, Petrol and Auto LPG. It is the most benign automotive fuel taking into the cognizance of tail Pipe emissions and environment friendliness during its exploration and production as well as distribution.
In a landmark step, GAIL Gas has reduced the price of CNG by Rs.2.50. Per Kg in various Geographical areas across the country. This step will facilitate the accelerated transition to Gas based economy coupled with economical fuel options to vehicle owners.
The GGL’s CNG price now offers attractive savings of upto 40 per cent compared to conventional Automotive fuels like Diesel, Petrol and Auto LPG at current price levels in Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada Geographical area (*conditions apply)
GAIL Gas is committed to encourage affordable CNG to Auto Rikshaw, Other vehicle drivers and owners and city residents to adopt CNG as the preferred fuel for their vehicles contributing to a greener and healthier environment in Namma Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada Geographical area.
