Mangaluru: Marking a significant step towards digital transformation, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mangalore conducted a comprehensive training session on its newly introduced “My Diocese” ERP software at the Pastoral Centre, Bajjodi. The programme was held in the presence of the Bishop of Mangalore, underscoring the diocese’s commitment to modernising its administrative systems.
Comprehensive Technical Training
The session was spearheaded by Rev. Fr Evan J. Gomes, SVD, ERP Coordinator, along with his specialised technical team. The training provided an in-depth overview of the software’s core features, including system requirements, regular update mechanisms, and automated report generation.

Hands-on guidance was offered to parish priests, assistant parish priests, and parish office clerks to ensure smooth adaptation to the new digital framework. Participants were trained to manage digital records efficiently and integrate the system into everyday parish administration.
