Woman Found Murdered Near Kengeri; Husband Suspected
A 27-year-old woman, Gauri Nagesh, was found murdered near a graveyard in Kengeri, Bengaluru, on Wednesday. The victim, a resident of Jattiganahalli, was identified by local residents who alerted the police.
Initial investigations suggest that Gauri’s husband, Nagesh, is the prime suspect in the case. The couple, married for nearly eight years, had a history of disputes. Six years ago, Nagesh moved out of their shared home, and Gauri lived separately. However, three days before the murder, Nagesh brought her back to his residence.
On Tuesday night, the couple reportedly had a heated argument. The police believe that Nagesh then took Gauri to a deserted road around 7 pm and killed her. A murder case has been filed, and a team led by a sub-inspector has been assigned to locate and apprehend the suspect.
