Mangaluru, October 17, 2025: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between the Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), the postgraduate centre of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), and the Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMCH) on October 17, 2025, at the Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) campus, Mangaluru.
The partnership marks a significant step toward providing enhanced medical and allied healthcare support for students, while fostering collaboration in areas of health awareness, counselling, and preventive healthcare.
Signing Ceremony and Dignitaries Present
The MoU was signed by Rev. Fr George Jeevan Sequeira, Administrator, FMMCH, in the presence of Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, FMCI, and Rev. Dr Kiran Coth SJ, Director, AIMIT Centre, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University).
The signing took place in the presence of the FMCI Management Committee Members, symbolising a commitment to holistic student welfare and institutional partnership between the two renowned Mangaluru-based institutions.

This MoU aims to ensure timely, high-quality medical care for AIMIT students — covering both preventive and emergency healthcare. It also includes provisions for health-related training, awareness sessions, counselling, and medical camps to promote overall well-being on campus.
Speaking at the signing, representatives from both institutions underscored the importance of building a proactive healthcare system for students, enabling early diagnosis, stress management, and wellness-based education.

The Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMCH), a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, is renowned for its ethical medical practice, cutting-edge facilities, and patient-centred care. Currently, the hospital is also conducting a comprehensive health check-up programme for police personnel under the Commissioner’s Office, focusing on general and cardiac health assessments.
