In a rare turn of events, parents of students at a government school in Kaniyoor, Kanyana village, Bantwal taluk, took matters into their own hands after teachers engaged in frequent quarrels over trivial issues.
The school, with just 46 students, is staffed by three teachers: headmistress Anita, and teachers Lavina and Sumaiya. Tensions reportedly brewed between Anita and Sumaiya, resulting in regular arguments that disrupted the school environment.
Annoyed by the constant bickering, students informed their parents, prompting them to visit the school and confront the teachers. Education department officials were also called to the scene, where parents expressed their frustration and dissatisfaction.
The officials intervened, warning both teachers about the impact of their behavior on the students. They cautioned that legal action would be pursued if such incidents persisted.
