Mangaluru: St Aloysius Pre-University College organised an Orientation Programme for Second Year PU students for the academic year 2026-27, encouraging students to begin a new phase of learning with confidence, discipline, and renewed determination.
The programme aimed at motivating students to recognise their potential, remain focused on their goals, and strive towards meaningful academic and personal success.
Programme begins with prayer service
The orientation programme commenced with a prayer service seeking God’s blessings and guidance for the students as they embarked on their academic journey.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Rev. Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ emphasised the importance of using time wisely and preparing responsibly for the future.
Comparing life to the work of a sculptor shaping stone into a masterpiece, he encouraged students to face challenges courageously, learn from every experience, and continuously grow in character and knowledge.
He reminded students that openness to learning, development of new skills, balancing values with academics, and living purposefully are essential for building confidence and achieving success in a rapidly changing world.
