Atlee Teams Up with Vijay Sethupathi for a Thriller

After the success of Jawan, Atlee is set to collaborate with Vijay Sethupathi once again for a Tamil thriller. The film, co-produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani, is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2025 and aims for a release by the year-end.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, this untitled project is touted as a gripping subject that balances Vijay Sethupathi’s acting prowess with his star appeal. Atlee confirmed the news, stating, “It’s a fantastic film. Murad sir and I have been working on this for the past two years. It’s the next big thing from Cine1 and A For Apple.”

Murad also shared his enthusiasm, revealing, “We have locked one film with Atlee sir, and it’s a Tamil movie. More details will be announced soon.”

This thriller will mark Atlee’s second collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi, following their blockbuster Jawan. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates about this promising venture.

Focus on ‘Baby John’ Release

While gearing up for the thriller, Atlee is also excited about the release of Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. The film, an adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil hit Theri, is set to release on December 25 and marks Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut.

With these projects, Atlee continues to solidify his reputation as a pan-Indian filmmaker delivering blockbuster entertainment.
