Maidaan to Clash with “Made Miyan Chote Miyan” at Box Office, Ajay Devgn Releases Video of his Movie

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has shared a video of his much-anticipated upcoming sports drama “Maidaan.” The superstar shared a glimpse of his role in the movie.

The biopic is based on the football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, under whose guidance the Indian football team won the Asian Games in 1951 and 1962, and the actor is playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim.
The movie will hit silver screens on April 10, coinciding with Eid celebrations. Ajay released the video on his Instagram account, and soon after, it started gaining traction on social media. He wrote a caption: “#Maidaan mein utrenge gyarah sirf gyarah dinon mein. Watch the true story of Coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who changed Indian history with football! #11DaysToMaidaan. Releasing this Eid, 10th April 2024, also in IMAX.”

The movie, produced by Boney Kapoor, also stars Priyamani and Gajraj Rao. Interestingly, the movie will clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer big-budget movie, “Made Miyan Chote Miyan,” which is also releasing on the same day.
The movie will shed more light on the football coach and unsung hero who brought laurels to the country. Commenting on his movie, Boney Kapoor said that he was amazed that many are not aware of the contribution of Syed Abdul Rahim and said that he is an unsung hero. He mentioned his team players like PK Banerjee, Franco, Chunni Goswami, Balram, and Arun Ghosh. He said that the movie would definitely inspire youth to play football.
The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil.
