New Delhi: Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan film releases for many years but this year was bit different, fans of the Bollywood star celebrating the Eid without his movie. The star promised fans that he would make grand reentry next year with a big Eid release.
The Hum Aapke Hain Koun star announced that he has teamed up with AR Murugadoss, renowned for directing hits like Ghajini, Salman Khan is set to star in the film titled Sikandar.
In an Instagram post, Salman Khan also asked his fans to watch Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan – both of which were released on the occasion of Eid. Salman Khan wrote, “This Eid, watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan, and next Eid, meet Sikandar. Wish you all Eid Mubarak.”
At the same time, AR Murugadoss shared the news on his Instagram handle, stating, “Eid Mubarak! Immerse yourself in the magic of ‘Sikandar’ as it unfolds on the big screen on Eid 2025! Sajid Nadiadwala Presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar. Releasing in cinemas on Eid 2025.”
His Eid releases includes Bodyguard, Kick, Ek Tha Tiger, Radhe, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and many others. His last film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was a box-office bomb.
