Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s aerial action spectacle, directed by Siddharth Anand, took off to a strong start on Thursday and soared even higher during the Republic Day holiday on Friday. However, the film experienced a slight dip in collections on Saturday, estimating around ₹28 crore.
Despite encountering a decline on Saturday, the film titled “Fighter” has been performing impressively at the box office. It initially garnered ₹22.5 crore upon its release and has now reached a total of ₹90 crore domestically within three days.
“Fighter” has managed to captivate audiences despite facing two significant constraints. The film is released exclusively in Hindi without availability in regional languages, and it has been banned in the Gulf countries.
Adding to its allure, “Fighter” boasts a star-studded cast including Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi. Siddharth Anand, the director, returns a year after his previous blockbuster “Pathaan” with this project. Much like his earlier work with Shah Rukh Khan, “Fighter” showcases the lead actors flaunting their impeccable physiques on screen.
Deepika Padukone recently emphasized the importance of trusting the director’s vision, expressing confidence in their ability to present the material appropriately. Siddharth Anand echoed this sentiment, highlighting the innate confidence of the lead actors in their appearance and the minimal effort required to showcase their charisma on screen.
