Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 (also known as Kantara 2) continues its dream run at the box office. The film maintained its momentum on Day 6 (Tuesday), adding ₹33.5 crore to its domestic tally. With this, the movie’s total India net collection stands at ₹290.25 crore, according to data from Sacnilk.

After a thunderous opening weekend and a minor dip on Monday, the film’s steady weekday hold underscores its strong audience pull across languages.

Kannada version dominates home turf

The Kannada version remains the film’s strongest pillar, leading the charts with 78.9% overall occupancy on Tuesday. Cities like Mysuru (93%), Shivamogga (96.5%), and Kundapura and Tumakuru (98–100%) saw near-full houses during evening and night shows.
It collected ₹13 crore on Day 6, pushing its total to ₹89.35 crore in Karnataka alone. The consistent turnout highlights Rishab Shetty’s strong connect with local audiences.

Hindi version continues upward trend

The Hindi dubbed version held firm with ₹11 crore on Day 6, particularly strong in metros such as Pune (50.5%) and Mumbai (41.75%). Evening multiplex shows saw a marked uptick.
With this, the Hindi version’s total stands at ₹93.25 crore, cementing the film’s pan-India appeal.

Mixed response for Telugu version

In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Kantara 2 registered 30.85% occupancy on Tuesday. While major centres like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Vizag performed decently, smaller towns saw a dip.
The Telugu version collected ₹4.75 crore, taking its total to ₹57.4 crore.

Tamil and Malayalam versions remain steady

In Tamil Nadu, the film recorded 37.76% occupancy, led by Chennai (44.5%) and Pondicherry (65.5%), collecting ₹2.5 crore on Day 6. The total for the Tamil version now stands at ₹27.25 crore.
In Kerala, the Malayalam version earned ₹2.25 crore on Tuesday, taking its cumulative total to ₹23 crore, with strong numbers from Kochi and Kozhikode.
