Actor Mandana Karimi has spoken publicly about years of alleged cyberbullying, stalking and harassment, saying the abuse has continued even after she moved from India to Dubai in May.

Mandana says harassment has continued for years

In a series of Instagram videos shared on Tuesday, Mandana alleged that an unidentified person has been monitoring her social media activity and contacting people in her professional circle.

She said producers and co-stars have received emails containing defamatory claims about her, with some messages allegedly asking recipients for money. Mandana said the harassment began after her separation and has continued for more than six years.

According to the actor, she had previously tried to identify the person behind the alleged harassment. She claimed that she was told a professional hacker had been hired to closely monitor her posts.

Actor shares screenshots and urges caution

Mandana also shared screenshots of the alleged emails and appealed to people not to respond to them or send money.

She urged anyone receiving messages concerning her to preserve the emails and screenshots and share them with her rather than engaging with the sender.

The actor said she had previously filed multiple cybercrime complaints and alleged that the issue remained unresolved. She described the situation as an attempt to damage her reputation and professional relationships.

Mandana speaks about rebuilding her life

The actor has also recently reflected on finding happiness again while rebuilding her life in Dubai. In an earlier social media post, she spoke about moving through grief, loss and resilience while trying to embrace moments of joy.

Mandana is known for films including Roy, Bhaag Johnny, Main Aur Charles, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 and Thar. She also appeared in the television series Ishqbaaz.

Mandana married businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2017. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2021 after she had filed a domestic violence complaint against him and his family.
