Dubai: The much-awaited Family Fiesta organised by Mangalore Konkans Dubai, scheduled for 7 December at Sharjah Wanderers Open Ground from 9:00 AM onwards, had its grand ticket launch ceremony at Winny’s Restaurant, Karama. Representatives of various associations, bloggers and YouTubers attended the special gathering.

Community leaders attend the festive launch

The ceremony began with a prayer led by Master of Ceremony Uttam Menezes.
Former President James Mendonca highlighted the organisation’s humanitarian initiatives and the cultural significance of the annual Family Fiesta.

Shashidhar Nagarajappa, President of Karnataka Sangha Dubai, praised the efforts of Mangalore Konkans in strengthening community ties. Dubai-based singer Naveed Magundi encouraged families to participate in the celebration. Social worker Shodhan Prasad and Goan leader Advocate Greg De Barros also shared their best wishes.

A special moment was dedicated to newly married couples—Treasurer Melroy & Vanisha and Secretary Goldina & Elvin—who celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony. President Stephen Menezes presented bouquets and delivered the vote of thanks.
