Bengaluru: Director Nagashekar is preparing a sequel to Sanju Weds Geetha, which was released nearly 12 years ago. The film’s title is Sanju Weds Geetha-2 and Rachita Ram and Srinagara Kitty will play the lead roles. While Kitty played Sanju in the first part too, Rachita will step into Ramya’s shoes. “Geetha is more than simply a persona for people; she is an emotion. With her, people both laughed and sobbed. I wanted to cast a capable actor who could do honor to the mysterious part in the follow-up. Ramya, Rachita Ram, and Trisha were the three actors who sprang to mind. I went to Rachita because Ramya was preoccupied, and she agreed. I did not thus approach Trisha. Kitty and Rachita also have the aura of a young couple.
