Mangaluru: Mangaluru’s iconic Pabba’s Gadbad ice cream has been listed in the ‘100 Most Iconic Ice Creams of The World’ by Taste Atlas, a popular international food and travel guide. Pabba’s Gadbad is listed one among five Indian ice-creams which were selected by Taste Atlas. Alongside the ice cream flavours, Taste Atlas also mentioned the name of the outlets selling these sweet delights and the year they had opened.
Pabba’s is the popular ice cream outlet of Ideal Ice Cream, Mangaluru which was founded by S. Prabhakar Kamath in the year 1975. Even after so many decades, Gadbad is the most famous ice cream among all other varieties of Ideal ice cream. Gadbad ice cream combines many ice cream flavours like strawberry, butter scotch, vanilla, with fruits, nuts, and syrups, resulting in a delightful and visually appealing treat ready to relish every moment.
