Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has recently shared a nostalgic moment on her Instagram Stories, reminiscing about her late parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. In the heartwarming throwback image, young Riddhima is seen sitting on her mother Neetu’s lap while her father, Rishi, lovingly gazes at their daughter. Along with the photo, Riddhima included a “Sweet Memories” sticker, paired with a red heart emoji, capturing the essence of this precious family moment.
Earlier this year, Riddhima made her debut on Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, where her performance was met with praise from both fans and critics.
In a recent interview, Riddhima opened up about the emotional impact of losing her father. She shared how her family members coped with the loss in their own quiet ways, often retreating to separate spaces to grieve privately before returning to act “normal.” Despite their reserved expressions of sorrow, Riddhima emphasized that the pain of losing her father continues to linger deep within their hearts.
Rishi Kapoor, who had been battling leukemia since 2018, spent considerable time in New York for treatment before returning to India in 2019. He passed away on April 30, 2020, leaving a void in the Kapoor family.
On the professional front, Riddhima’s reality show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives introduced her as a new member in the third season, alongside other Delhi-based entrants.
