After the phenomenal success of Kantara, Rishab Shetty has become one of the most in-demand actors in Indian cinema. His powerful performance and storytelling catapulted him into the spotlight, opening doors beyond the Kannada film industry.
Despite getting several Bollywood offers, Rishab has not committed to any Hindi project yet, as he has been busy crafting Kantara 2, a much-anticipated prequel to the original blockbuster. However, the actor is now clearly turning his attention toward Telugu cinema.
Rishab’s collaboration with Sithara Entertainment was officially announced on July 30, along with his striking first-look poster. He is also part of Jai Hanuman, a Telugu film directed by Hanu-Man creator Prasanth Varma. Industry insiders reveal that Shetty is earning a much heftier fee for his Telugu ventures compared to his Kannada films, marking a major leap in his career and earnings.
Meanwhile, Kantara 2 is slated to hit the big screens on October 2, 2025, and fans are eagerly awaiting Rishab’s return to the mystical world that made him a household name.
With rising popularity across industries and a string of major projects in the pipeline, Rishab Shetty is poised for pan-India stardom.
