Mangaluru: Writer, Director Sandeep Malani has recently released three songs of his latest project, a web series film titled ‘Maa –Yeh Cinemaa Hai’. On the eve of New Year, the songs were released online on various platforms like Facebook, Youtube and Whatsapp. The songs have now gone viral all over the digital networks.
The song ‘Jeele Jeele’ is a peppy youthful song that has been shot in the pristine locals of Mangaluru including beaches and some happening spots in the city like the malls and busy roads. It has been sung by Govind Kurnool and Priya Yadav and features Ranjeet Jha, Shubha Raksha, Mahendra Pandey, Sharanya Kaur, Cherrie Ash, Ajith Shetty, Chirag Kundapur, Jaison Melroy, Jaison Dais, Umesh KT and Avinash Poojary.
The next song, ‘I Love you my Angel’ is a soulful romantic song that has been shot in Bengaluru and has a lot of artists including Sanjukta Ghosh, Bharath Laksmikanth, Pratiek Kumar, Tushara Rao, Sarita Jannat, Shree Ram, Pratiksha Nayak, Manjula Pillai, Shivranajan, Mahesh Dulam, Anita Dulam, Selvam Mathappan, Karthik Venkatesh, Baby Aditi Dulam and Master Sriman Dulam. Silver Malani and Priya Yadav rendering their voice.
The third song is in fact a music piece titled ‘Party Retro Disco’ that reminds you of a 80s Bappi Lahiri music. This fresh track features Jagruti Mehta, Bharath Lakshmikanth, Kkewal Vyas, Prayas Singh and others and is picturised at a disco club in Mumbai. While the Retro Disco is composed by Ameya Nayak, the other two are composed by Karthik Venkatesh.
Also a new poster as a greeting for New Year was released that featured a few of the principal characters of the Maa Family. The cast includes Meena Malani, Sanjukta Ghosh, Shubha Raksha, Sharanya Jit Kaur, Shona Chabbra, Reshma Malani, Anita Dulam, Varsha Acharya, Ranjeet Jha, Bharath Laksmikanth, Mahendra Pandey, Shivam Kataria, Akash Hora, Vishal Digani, Mahesh Dulam and Silver Malani.
The songs are edited by Santosh Chawla and choreographed by Sanjay XLNC and Shivranjan. Made under the banner of RKJ Productions in association with The Studio Agency and Malani Talkies, the webseries and Bollywood Hinglish film has been shot on an iPhone. The film that has 100 stars in it, has concept, script, screenplay, cinematography and direction by Sandeep Malani.
