Mumbai: Director Atlee’s upcoming action-thriller movie ‘Jawan’ has been a major topic of discussion in Bollywood since superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed his new look in the trailer. Recently, both Atlee and SRK unveiled a new motion poster for the film, featuring five distinct faces of the actor, each with its own story.
Sharing the motion poster on his Instagram, SRK captioned it: “The Many Faces of Justice… This is an arrow… Now a spear is remaining… This is the end, right now death awaits. This is something you ask of yourself… Right now the answer still remains.”
He added, “There’s a purpose and meaning behind every Face. But this is just the beginning… Wait for the Ace!!! #Jawan releasing worldwide on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”
Atlee’s caption for the motion poster read: “Behind each face, lies a story of its own. #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”
The interpretation of each face’s story is speculative, but the first face showcases SRK in a serious bald look, resembling a fighter with bandages, striking a spear below.
The second face presents SRK with a more down-to-earth appearance, with hair, giving the impression of a senior intelligence officer or commander. The third face depicts him as he looks now, walking amidst burning flames like a shadowy fighter.
The fourth face features a cybernetic masked look, the most intriguing and eerie, with a soldier holding a gun below.
The fifth face shows his widely discussed bald look while dancing in a Metro compartment in an unconventional manner, drawing everyone’s attention and curiosity.
The film’s anticipation is considerable, with ‘Jawan’ being one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2023, garnering the same level of excitement as ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Gadar 2’. The film’s appeal is enhanced by its pan-Indian nature, as it’s directed by Atlee.
SRK is not the sole attraction, as the movie also features prominent names from South Indian cinema like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Yogi Babu. In addition, Bollywood figures like Sunil Grover and Sanya Malhotra are part of the cast, with Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay making special appearances.
