Mysuru : The cultural forum of Vijaya Vittala PU College was inaugurated by renowned film actor, theater artiste and director Mandya Ramesh at Vijaya Vittala College auditorium recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Mandya Ramesh expressed his happiness over the enthusiasm of students for their involvement in cultural activities and said, “It is very important in the life of students to develop passion in music, dance, literature and theatre. All art forms will enable a student to reach perfection in life. Great people were able to find perfection in life through the values they learnt from experiences of their own life that enabled them in psychological and personal development. Theater art also provides good opportunities to take leadership in life with excellent oratory skills. Appreciation for art and theater will enhance aesthetic feelings. He further stressed on students to aim high and dream of achieving their goals by engaging themselves in co-curricular activities.
R. Vasudev Bhat, Hon. Secretary of Vijaya Vittala Educational Institutions presided over the program.
Principal H. Satyaprasad in his introductory speech highlighted the objectives of the cultural forum and told that it is very important for students to take interest in cultural and co-curricular activities along with academics to excel in life through the experiences they gain by following the traditions of literature, culture and spirituality. They should actively participate in all such activities to widen the capabilities of memory, cognitive skills and learning abilities.
S.P.Asha, Principal of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, conveners of the cultural forum Mayuralakshmi and K.V.Sanjaya, were also present during the occasion. Sampada C. Ashihal rendered the invocation.
