Mangaluru: The Department of General Surgery at Father Muller Medical College, conducted a guest lecture on March 23 at 3 PM, at Conference Hall.
The programme began with a prayer song.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ashwin Alva, Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist, A. J. Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangaluru, on the topic “Recent Advances in Management of Carcinoma Stomach”. The session was moderated by Dr. Erel A.I. Diaz, Professor, Department of Surgery and Dr. Ganesh M. K., Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist, Father Muller Medical College.
The programme was compered by Dr. Sriranjini K S, 2nd year Postgraduate Resident. Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor and HOD, Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Rajeshwara K V, Associate Professor, Department of Surgery proposed the vote of thanks.
As many as 40 delegates attended the guest lecture. All staff members and postgraduates from the Department of Surgery were present.
