Mangalore: The Department of PG Studies in Commerce of the University College Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Rotary Club Mangalore Seaside, organized a motivational workshop for professors at Ravindra Kalabhavana in the college on Saturday.
In his introductory speech, the Department of PG Studies in Commerce Coordinator Dr Yathish Kumar said that we are never perfect whatever the position we reach. Though we can’t reach the height of persons like Swamy Vivekananda, continuous learning is important. In his presidential address, Principal Dr A Harisha said that in the mobile age, teachers have to work to turn students’ attention towards books.
Resource persons for the day, Rotary Club National Trainer Rtn Dr Rahul Thonse, Zonal Trainers Rtn Heerachand Karkera and Rtn Lohith Shetty gave some practical training to the teaching faculty. Rotary Club Mangalore Seaside President Rtn PHF Suresh M S was present.
