Mangaluru: On 29 April 2023, the Indira Education Trust colleges in Mangalore celebrated their graduation day at Milagres Jubilee Hall. Evansaralin Warjri, Lecturer at Indira Nursing College, welcomed guests, parents, students, and faculty members.
Dr N Ramakrishna Reddy, Registrar (Evaluation) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr U.T. Ifthikar Ali, Former Syndicate Member at the RGUHS, was the Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries on the dais included Dr Greesha Jose, Principal of the Nursing College, Dr N. Geoviya George (PT), Principal Incharge of Physiotherapy College, Krithika, Principal Incharge of Allied Health Sciences, and Ramiza, Principal Incharge of Paramedical Sciences.
During the event, the concerned Principals and Principal Incharges read the annual report of the colleges. Dr N. Ramakrishna Reddy, the Chief Guest, shared his wisdom on the importance of healthcare professionals and Dr U.T. Ifthikar Ali’s enormous contribution to the profession’s development.
The colleges awarded certificates to graduating students of MSc Nursing, BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences, while Paramedical Sciences students received diplomas and certificates. On this day, the colleges recognised students for their academic and extracurricular performances.
Siji Augustine, Associate Professor at Indira Nursing College, gave the vote of thanks, and the graduation day ended with the national anthem and a photo session.
