Chamarajanagara: BJP candidate V. Somanna has said that Siddaramaiah should visit the constituency once to see how the roads are and the chaos that is there in the Varuna Constituency.
Speaking to mediapersons while campaigning in Chamarajanagara, he said, “Let Siddaramaiah walk in the constituency once. How well are the roads, and what kind of chaos is there he will know. Let him see how people are struggling. I’ll come with him too. If Siddaramaiah calls me, I am ready to go, he said and challenged Siddu to take a round of the constituency with him.
“If he feels satisfied with the work he has done, I will not say anything to him. Siddaramaiah is not bigger than Nijalingappa and Devaraj Urs. Everything is decided by the people. It would be better if Siddaramaiah pays attention to the facts instead of putting the blame on someone else,” he said.
Reacting to the disruption in campaigning in Varuna, Somanna said, “Not one day but they are disrupting campaigning every day. Siddaramaiah is desperate, he said.
Reacting to a statement that there is a ruckus because of Pratap Simha, he said, “Pratap Simha is a responsible Lok Sabha member. He is like a brother to me. The future leader of the party. Let them talk about the fact. It’s your own people who are fighting. Let there be a fair election. Let decision be made on May 10,” he said.
