Mangaluru: Milagres Degree College started Kabaddi Coaching in the year 2023 for both Degree as well as PUC students of Milagres Institution. Over the past 6 months, Milagres College has participated in various Kabaddi matches in Taluk, District and state-level Kabaddi tournaments.
College teams participated in Mangalore Taluk level Dasara Kabaddi tournaments at Mangala Indoor stadium and secured first place at the taluk level and second place at the district level.
Students participated in the under-19 tournaments at Nethilpadu, Dakshina Kannada and our team entered the semi-final and was the 2nd runner-up. The college team participated in the 65 kg state-level kabaddi tournament at Hassan and secured first place. 65kg state-level Kabaddi tournament was conducted in Madikeri our team secured second place.
Our college team participated in the Mangalore University inter-collegiate Kabaddi tournament held at Government First Grade Degree College, Mudipu and entered the quarter-final against SDM College, Ujire.
The college provides free education and a Mid-day meal facility for the students. There are a total of 24 students from PUC and Degree.
