Mangaluru: The Department of Computer Science & Engineering(CSE), Manipal Institute of Technology(MIT), Manipal is organizing a National Supercomputing Mission sponsored FDP on High Performance Computing from 21 to 24 Feb, 2024 at MIT Manipal.
This FDP is organized in association with the Center for Development of Advanced Computing(CDAC), Pune, Walchand College of Engineering(WCE), Sangli.
The inauguration was held on 21 Feb, with Prof. Shivakumar Sastry, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dayanand Sagar University, Bengaluru as the Chief Guest and Cdr (Dr) Anil Rana, Director, MIT Manipal Presiding.
Dr Krishnamoorthi Makkithaya, Head of the Department, CSE Department, MIT Manipal welcomed the gathering.
Prof. Shivakumar Sastry in his inaugural speech congratulated the organizing team for conducting the FDP. Dr Anil Rana in his Presidential remarks, stressed lifelong learning for all the new age professionals.
Dr Neelima Bayyapu, Associate Professor, CSE Department, MIT Manipal and Dr D. B. Kulkarni, Professor, WCE, Sangli are the coordinators of this FDP.
Prof. Deepthi S was the Master of Ceremonies and the program concluded with Prof. Ashwath Rao B delivering the vote of thanks.
