Udupi: The Post Graduate Department of Social Work, Milagres College, Kallianpur in association with Field Services and Inter Cultural Learning Volunteer, Kundapur (FSL India), organised “Cultural Swap”-an interactive programme of FSL volunteers (from Germany and Greek) with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Ist MSW students on November 19 at A.V.Hall Milagres College, Kallianpur.
Martha, Coordinator of FSL India inaugurated the programme. Dr.Gerald Pinto, Principal, Milagres College, Kallianpur presided the programme. FSL volunteers Adrian, Felix, Evrim, Sophia, Valeria (FSL Volunteers, from Germany and Greek) were the resource persons at the programme. Rayan Mathias, Co-ordinator, PG Department of Social Work, Milagres College was the chief guest of the programme.
The Formal programme was followed by interactive sessions by the FSL volunteers. It included manifold discussions on various facets of culture like family, education, social celebrations etc., whereby the volunteers and students shared their cultural practices with each other.
