Mangaluru: Prestige International School and Pre University College launched and released the first edition of its school magazine “MERAKI 2017-18” on February 15.
All the parents and teachers along with the dignitaries were presence at the event.
Chief guest Prof. K Balakrishna Bhat, former MLC of Karnataka, Guest of Honour Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, an eminent speaker, writer and educational consultant graced the function with their presence.
Other special guests were Y S Adappa, Director of Accolade Academy and Dr. Ruksana, a well-known psychologist and the school’s counsellor were also present.
Prestige International School and Pre Univserity College Chairman Hyder Ali, Managing Director Reshma Hyder and Principal Feroza Fayaaz also organised the event.
The formal release of magazine “MERAKI” was followed by an enlightening session by Dr. Gururaj Karajagi on the “Art of Parenting.” The programme ended with the parents leaving their handprint and signature on the cora cloth to acknowledge the enlightenment they took home from Dr. Gururaj.
