Mangaluru: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Mangaluru Chapter conducted a Teachers’ Conference for the Faculty of Commerce, Management and Law Departments of colleges of Mangalore University, in association with the Department of Collegiate Education, Mangalore region at Dr P. Dayananda Pai-P. Satisha Pai Government First Grade College Carstreet, Mangaluru.
Prof.Rame Gowda, Joint Director of Dept. of Collegiate Education, Mangalore Region inaugurated the conference. Prof Jayakara Bhandary M, Principal presided. CS Sonali Suresh Mallya, ICSI Chairperson welcomed the gathering. Deviprasad, Special Officer of DCE, Mangalore region and Coordinator of IQAC delivered a vote of thanks.
Suvarnamalini- HOD of Commerce, Dr Jyothi Priya- Co-Cordinator of IQAC, Dr Vasanthi and Dr Nagappa Gowda -Chief Coordinators (UG and PG) were present. Dr Malathy, HOD of Management anchored the inaugural programme.
C.S Chethan Nayak K, the resource person of the 1st session, spoke about Company Law Recent Amendments and Career Opportunities.
Company Secretary Dr Devi Prabha Alva was the resource person for the 2nd session on the Relevance of Teachers in the Digital World. Nearly 70 Faculty members from various colleges actively participated in the conference.
