Mangaluru: Department of Medical Surgical Nursing of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing and General Medicine Department of A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangaluru, observed World Hepatitis Day-2017 on July 28 in 4G, male ward of AJIMS, Kuntikana.
Dr. EVS Maben, Head, Department of General Medicine was the resource person for the programme. He highlighted the importance of early detection and prompt treatment of Hepatitis.
Dr. Larissa Martha Sams, Principal, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, presided over the programme. On account of World Hepatitis Day, a role play was performed and AV Aid were displayed by the 1st Year PBBSC (N) students of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing.
