Yenepoya‘s YPCRC & CHPE organise workshop for university faculty

Mangaluru: Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre (YPCRC) and Centre for Health Professions Education (CHPE), Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) inaugurated a one-day basic skills workshop on “Blueprinting and Question Bank Management System” on January 2 to upgrade the skills of academicians in development of question bank and question paper in order to achieve the objectives of course outcome, programme outcome and map the outcome.

Pro Vice Chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Dr. C. V. Raghuveer presided over the inaugural ceremony while, Registrar, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr. Gangadhara Somayaji K. S was the chief guest.

The chairman of the gathering, Dr. Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed, Principal, YPCRC welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the progress as well as achievement of the department on the occasion of the completion of three years of YPCRC.

Convener Dr. Abhay S. Nirgude highlighted the importance of the workshop and also spoke on how to implement it to achieve the goals of the programme outcome as well as course outcome. Dr. Aswini Dutt, Dr. Neha Haswani R, Dr Poonam Naik, Dr. Hrishikesh Udupa and Dr. Abhay S. Nirgude were the resource persons who delivered talks on novel strategic methods in preparing blueprints and question bank for the academic progression.

Twenty five delegates including those from Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre and Yenepoya Physiotherapy College actively participated in the workshop.

On the occasion, the resource persons, as well as organising members, were honoured with a certificate as a token of gratitude.

The delegates also received certificates during the valedictory ceremony which were presented by Registrar, Dr. Gangadhara Somayaji K. S, Controller of Examiner Dr Nadish and Dr. Javed Jamil Dy. Director, Head of Chair in Islamic Studies & Research (Yenepoya Deemed to be University).

Dr. Sunil S. Menghani Associate Professor and Sandhya V Assistant Professor YPCRC were the organizing secretary and organizing member respectively.

Earlier, the program commenced with an invocation by Kabeer (4th Semester B Pharm).
