Yenepoya(Deemed to be University), Department of Physical education had organized a South India Inter-Collegiate 5th YEN Cup Volleyball Tournament and 11th B.S.A Kumar Memorial Basketball tournament 2018 from 04th to 9th October 2018.
The Program was inaugurated by Dr.Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed, Principal and Dean Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Center. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory function was Dr.Gerald Santhosh D’Souza, Chairman of the Dept. of PG Studies in Physical Education, Mangalore University. Guest of Honour was Dr.Akhter Husain HOD and Professor, Department of Orthodontics Yenepoya (Deemed to be University and Mr.Purushottam Poojary, Secretary of Dakshina Kannada Kabaddi Association who gave away the Prize to the Winners.

The Chief Guest for the 11th B.S.A Kumar Memorial Basketball Tournament Valedictory function was Mr.Eudrick Pereira Current Indian Basketball Player, Inspector Customs and Central Excise, Cochin and Guest of Honor was Dr.Kishore Kumar CK, Vice-Chancellor, Mangalore University. The programme was presided by Dr.M.Vijaya Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). Mr.Mohammad Bawa P, Finance Officer & Chairman of Sports Committee, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) the family member of B.S.A Kumar Mr Abdul Rehaman and Mrs.Shilpashree, Asst.Director Dept of Phy. Education Yenepoya University was also present on the dais.
