St Philomena College holds a one-day workshop for photography

Puttur: Centre for PG Studies and Research of St Philomena College Puttur organized One Day Workshop on Photography on October 10, 2018, in PG Seminar Hall.

The Chairperson for PG Studies Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro inaugurated the workshop and delivered the inaugural address. He said, ‘Photography is an art of observation. Human touch plays a vital role in photography. Today, due to the advancement in technology, photography has witnessed drastic changes and improvements. Every photographer is very much required to observe the ethics of photography. Photography as a career is possible for anyone with a true passion for it.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha in his presidential address said, ‘Human mind itself is the best camera. Photography is an art which can be done in several ways to enhance the beauty and charm of the events. Photography has a great power. It can take from the past to the present.’

The resource person Mr Ponnappa A S, Proprietor of Adlab, Puttur said, ‘Every individual who is born in this earth is a photographer. In the present digital era, with a proper camera and vision, photography can make our life much better.’

In the afternoon session Mr Ravichandra Rai of Adlab, Puttur participated as the resource person.

The Convenor of Workshop Mr Pradeep K S coordinated the programme.

Ms Jayashri presented the prayer song. Ms Ashwini P S welcomed the gathering. Ms Varalaxmi proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Shabana P compered the programme.
