Mangaluru: Fr Eric Crasta Correspondent of Cascia High School, Jeppu, welcomed the guest of honour and the others, and he also introduced briefly the chief guest and the guests of honour. At the opening the top academy performers of SSLC – Varun, Sujan Bhide and Tushara were honoured. The school also honoured guides, Rajya Puraskar performers, NCC cadet Srinidhi, and cultural performer Sudamshu Dongre.
The high school management honoured the main donors of the school and the Platinum Jubilee celebration, especially Santosh Sequeira (Santosh Arrangers, Kankanady) and old student Trunja (Managing Director, Pooja Petrochemicals Limited, Mumbai). President of old students by Ramakrishna Balkrishna facilitator for the generous financial assistant. The chief guest Swami Jitakamanadaji in his message stressed values of social living. He stressed education must impart and breed these values in the students so that a better society is built. Secretary, of the Catholic Board of Education and President of the program for Antony Shera highlighted the important contribution made by the founder of the school Msgr F.X. Fernandes and stressed the importance of the education of the youngsters.
Other guests of honour were – Swami Raghuramnandaji (Warden Swamiji Ramakrishna Balikashrama), Sudhakar (DDPI. Administration ), HR Ishwar (B.E.O Mangalore south), Prema Nanda (Chief whip Mangalore City Corporation), Bhanumathi (Corporator 58 ward Mangalore City Corporation), T.R Pooja (Managing Director Pooja Petrochemicals Limited Mumbai), Santosh Sequeira (MD Santosh Arrangers Kankanady), Ashok Fernandes (Vice President PPP Church), Subhash (President old student association ). The vote of thanks was delivered by Headmaster. The program ended with colourful entertainment. The whole program was compered by Rita Pinto.
