Mangaluru: The meeting of the workers of Kadri South Ward was held on Saturday March 18.
Before the programme, a grand procession was held from Mangalore Circuit House to Kadri Park Gorakshanatha Sabhabhavan. It was special that the women workers who participated in large numbers danced and waved the huge BJP flag throughout the procession. MLA Vedavyas Kamath was brought in an open vehicle.
The programme was inaugurated by BJP Leaders.
MLA Vedavyas Kamath who spoke on this occasion said that this is the ward which agrees with the ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party. The task of BJP workers is not just to win one person, he said and added that the aim of the Activists is to elect a person who will work hard to improve the morals and values of this country.
Meanwhile MLA Vedavyasa Kamath was felicitated. Shakila Kava, Chairman of the Standing Committee gave an introductory speech and welcomed the gathering.
Deputy Mayor Poornima, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Vijayakumar Shetty, Monappa Bhandari, Kishore Kottari, Nitin Kumar, Bhaskarchandra Shetty, Rupa D. Bangera and other BJP Leaders were present along with workers.
