Mangaluru: The honouring ceremony of the children of the members of the St. Christopher association, who excelled in their talent was held in the Rosario Cultural Hall on Sunday 07-08-2022. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest Walter Nandalike, Founder and Director of Daijiworld, asked them to walk towards achieving their goals with positive thinking.
What is found in the society in more of negativity, we must not take that into consideration, instead analyse each situation, suppress negativity, do hard work with a positive mind and become achievers. Prepare for competitive examinations to get the placement in the Government Services as well as corporates grab the opportunities and always work with a motto of service.
Rev.Fr JB Crasta, Director of St. Antony’s Charitable Institution, addressed all the members and directed the children to respect elders, listen to their advice and be successful in life, at the same time develop the culture of human love in your neighborhood irrespective of religion Caste and Creed.
The Rector of the Cathedral Rev.Fr Alfred Pinto in his presidential remarks, congratulated all the members for their committed service of 56 years for the Society and for upliftment of children of the members of the association. This association being the association of owners and drivers of the vehicles have more responsibility in the society and their services will have larger impact on all, and therefore I wish a great future for association he added.
The Hon. President Sushil Noronha, conducted the Honouring Ceremony and introduced all the achievers.
President of the association Dr John Edward D’Silva welcome the gathering, The Secretary Sunil Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. The Vice President John Baptist Gomes, the Joint Secretary Jerald D’Souza were present on the dais. Lancy D’Cunha compered the programme.
The Holy Eucharist was celebrated before the formal function and the main celebrant was Fr. JB Crasta.
The Blessing of vehicles followed the mass.
