Young Catholic Students (YCS/YSM) Mangalore Diocese organized ‘SHARE IT’ (Inspire & Transform) a day’s get together for its animators in the diocese on March 10th at Tannirbhavi Church campus and the beach. The program began at 9.30 AM with ice breakers, action songs and games at the sea shore. This was followed by review of the concluding year by Animators from various units. The animators shared their reports and how it was used to strengthen the young minds to get closer to God-family-Church-Nation-Nature. Fr Rupesh Madtha Diocesan Director of YCS/YSM thanked the members for their cooperation and also outlined the plans and activities for the upcoming year with the suggestions from the animators. The feedback session was followed by Holy Mass and lunch. Animators from 50 parishes participated in the program. Mervin Vas Diocesan YCS coordinator and his team helped in organizing the event.
YCS/YSM an international movement for teenagers which aims at ‘building a new society’ through ‘self change and change others’ with the methodology of ‘See-Judge-Act-Evaluate’ works at the integral development (Personality- Spirituality- Charity- Academics) of the young ones’. It has 150 units and more than 4,000 students as members in the diocese of Mangalore alone.
