Mangaluru: News Karnataka in collaboration with Manipal College of Dental Science Mangalore, Rotary Club of Mangalore Hills Side, Lions and Leo Club of Mangalore, and Rotary Club of Mangalore Metro, conducted a free dental check-up camp at District Jail, Kodailbail, Mangalore today morning.
The President Of Rotary Club Mangalore Metro, Rajani, addressed the gathering, saying “The world follows its own rules and ethics, as citizens, we need to solve it legally” added that she appreciated the efforts taken to conduct this dental camp.
Sham Lal Ermal, former president of the Rotary Club of Mangalore Hill Side, wished all success to the program and also expressed his help in upcoming services.
Jail Superintendent Obaleshwara showed his insight and gratitude towards the program, added that he would encourage such a program for the welfare of inmates of the jail and the prisoners, and showed his profound gratitude towards the clubs.
Dr. Avinash along with the students of KMC Dental Science Department conducted free dental check-ups for the inmates of the District Jail. Addressing the program, he said, “On this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, it is a great pleasure to have this program in the presence of our protectors the ‘Raksha Bandhan’ of our society.
