The Uttarakhand government, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has introduced a ₹1,01,175.33 crore budget for the financial year 2025-26, prioritizing infrastructure, economic stability, and public welfare.

Finance Minister Prem Chandra Aggarwal presented the budget in the State Assembly in Dehradun, outlining a strategic vision for progress. He emphasized key sectors such as agriculture, industry, energy, connectivity, tourism, and Ayush, reaffirming the government’s commitment to holistic development.

Financial Blueprint & Revenue Projections

The budget estimates total receipts of ₹1,01,034.75 crore, including ₹62,540.54 crore in revenue and ₹38,494.21 crore from capital receipts. Tax revenue is expected to contribute ₹39,917.74 crore, while non-tax revenue is estimated at ₹22,622.80 crore.

Growth-Focused Allocations

🔹 Infrastructure & Connectivity – ₹1,200 crore for road safety, 220 km of new roads, and 37 new bridges.
🔹 Water Resources – ₹1,843 crore for Jal Jeevan Mission, ₹625 crore for Jamrani Dam.
🔹 Tourism Boost – ₹100 crore for Tehri Lake development, ₹10 crore for Char Dham road network.
🔹 Social Welfare – ₹1,811.66 crore for security schemes, ₹600 crore for Food Security Scheme.
🔹 Environment & Sustainability – ₹395 crore for CAMPA, ₹125 crore for Spring & River Rejuvenation.

Built on the ‘GYAN Model’ (Gareeb, Yuva, Anndata, Naari), the budget strengthens economic growth, social security, and environmental sustainability.
