A 32-year-old Ullal resident, Muhammad Mazin, tragically lost his life after undergoing cosmetic surgery at the “Flount” Hair Transplant Clinic in Kankanadi. His family has blamed the clinic for negligence, alleging mistakes during the operation caused his death.

Mazin had visited the clinic on Saturday morning for the removal of a minor cyst from his chest. The surgery, initially expected to last 30 minutes, extended for hours without any updates. His mother and wife, who were waiting outside, became anxious as they received no information. Eventually, they were told that Mazin’s condition had deteriorated.

He was immediately transferred to a private hospital in Kodialbail, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

A case has been filed with the Kadri police following a complaint lodged by Shaman Ibrahim.

Relatives claim that Mazin’s death resulted from the clinic doctor’s negligence during the procedure. They also criticized the clinic’s poor infrastructure, noting that the ambulance stretcher couldn’t reach the facility due to its cramped layout.

Social activist Rizwan Pandeshwar has called for the public to avoid clinics that lack adequate medical infrastructure for such surgeries.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the clinic’s management has yet to reach out to Mazin’s family with any condolences.
