Ajay Devgn, a versatile actor known for his roles in action, romance, and comedy, is also a food enthusiast. While he focuses on fitness and diet, the actor can’t resist indulging in good food. Currently promoting his new film Azaad, Ajay recently shared three food combos that are close to his heart in an interview with Chef Sanjyot Keer.

Here are Ajay’s top three must-try food combinations:

  1. Glucose Biscuit Sandwich: Ajay’s first recommendation is a simple yet delicious sandwich made with glucose biscuits and white butter. Take one glucose biscuit, spread a spoonful of white butter on it, then close it with another biscuit, forming a sandwich. Ajay claims it’s “damn tasty” and a must-try!
  2. Meethi Bhurji: A recipe passed down from Ajay’s father, meethi bhurji is a sweet scrambled egg dish. Instead of salt and masala, mix two eggs with two spoons of sugar and some desi ghee. Ajay describes it as “so tasty” and likens it to caramel pudding, calling it the Indian version.
  3. Roti Roll: For a quick and tasty snack, Ajay recommends using leftover roti (baasi roti) from the previous night. Spread white butter on the roti, sprinkle salt, and roll it up like a frankie. It’s simple, yet “damn tasty” according to Ajay!

Ajay also mentioned how, although he doesn’t often indulge in these treats, he occasionally craves a bite of one of these snacks.

On the professional front:

Ajay’s film Azaad marks the Bollywood debut of his nephew Aaman Devgan and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani.

Before heading to the theater to watch Azaad, why not try one of Ajay’s recommended food combos at home?
