Billionaire entrepreneur Harsh Goenka recently tested a well-known weight loss trick, but judging by his social media post, the results were far from what he expected. The chairman of RPG Group experimented with the widely held belief that consuming warm lemon water with honey on an empty stomach aids in weight reduction and speeds up metabolism.

However, instead of shedding kilos, he humorously noted that he only lost ingredients. “They told me that drinking honey and lemon water every morning for two months would help me drop 2 kg. After two months, I had lost 2 kg of lemons and 3 kg of honey,” Goenka joked on X (formerly Twitter).

His witty remark quickly gained traction, sparking laughter and clever responses from social media users. One person quipped, “The only thing that got lighter was your pantry! These weight loss myths are undefeated, but at least you had a refreshing drink each morning.”

Another user shared a relatable experience, saying, “I ended up losing 50 kg of water, along with all the lemon and honey.”

A particularly amusing reply read, “Mr. Goenka, it seems your lemons and honey disappeared, but the weight stayed loyal. That’s the irony of dieting fads!”

His post resonated with many, proving yet again that weight loss myths often hold more promise than results.
