Actress Sanchita Ugale, known for her lead role as Sukoon in Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, marked World Laughter Day by reflecting on how her cheerful on-screen persona brings joy to others—and even inspires her in real life.

Speaking about Sukoon, Sanchita shared, “She’s full of positivity. Wherever she goes, she spreads smiles. In real life, I tend to overthink and stress a lot. Sukoon teaches me how to stay calm and joyful no matter what. I truly admire that about her.”

Sanchita views happiness and laughter not just as emotions but as the essence of a fulfilling life. “Being happy helps us grow emotionally and mentally. It motivates us to live actively, take part in things, and stay confident. Laughter is not just fun—it heals and energises,” she said.

On the significance of World Laughter Day, celebrated every first Sunday of May, she remarked, “It’s a beautiful reminder of laughter’s power to unite. In times where stress and digital fatigue are so common, a good laugh brings people closer and lifts our spirits.”

She added, “Laughter has no language or limits—it connects us all. This day promotes harmony, wellness, and togetherness through something as simple and powerful as a shared laugh.”

Sanchita, who has impressed audiences in Kumkum Bhagya, Wagle Ki Duniya, Silence 2, and Chhaava, continues to shine as a performer who radiates both warmth and wisdom.
