Actor R. Madhavan, known for his versatile performances and disciplined lifestyle, has revealed that a simple traditional dish plays an important role in maintaining his fitness at the age of 55.
In a recent interaction, the actor shared that kanji, a fermented rice preparation commonly found in South Indian households, is a regular part of his morning routine. According to him, the dish offers a healthy balance of nourishment and lightness, making it ideal for people who want to stay energetic while maintaining their weight.
A traditional dish in a modern routine
Madhavan explained that while many people begin their day with heavy meals or processed breakfast options, he prefers kanji because it is simple, cooling and easy to digest.
