
Veterinary Doctors Save Parrot’s Life with Tumor Surgery in Madhya Pradesh

In a rare and successful procedure, veterinary doctors in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, removed a 20-gram tumor from the throat of a 21-year-old parrot. The bird, whose ability to eat and speak was impaired by the tumor, underwent a two-hour surgery on September 15. The parrot is now fully recovered and eating normally. This marked the first known case of a tumor in a bird in the district, with the extracted mass sent for further analysis.
