Nampally: In an inhumane incident that has come late to light, a father raped his own 16-year-old daughter accompanied by her younger brother in Tirumalagiri of Nampally taluk.
The minor victim is said to be seven-months-pregnant now.
The 16-year-old girl was the only breadwinner for the family doing labour work.
The accused father is named as Bhutam Shrinu and the son (name not mentioned) is just 15 years old.
The victims’ granny had admitted her to the hospital after she revealed that she was suffering from acute stomach ache.
When tested the doctors confirmed that she was seven-months-pregnant and that the abortion was not possible.
Upset with the situation, the victim after reaching home attempted suicide by consuming poison.
Even though she was rushed to the hospital by her family members, the doctors confirmed that she was dead.
The family members then kept her body in front of her house protesting and demanding stringent legal action against the father and son duo for the barbaric act.
As the police received this information, they immediately rushed to the spot and assessed the situation.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
